Here's a rare early pontiled HAMBRO XXXX swirled whiskey decanter with its original HAMBRO shot glass stopper from the pre prohibition era of the 1890s or early 1900.......

in bold fired on gold enamel lettering on front...

also emb on stopper in gold enamel....Hand blown in swirled pattern mold with swirls around inside of glass and then on the outside from shoulder up around neck....ground pontil bottom...hand tooled flared ring lip...clear....8"tall (10 1/4"counting stopper).....Decanter itself is excellent shiny nice with no chips or damage. Some faint inside dust haze.  The base of stopper is cracked but displays nice since the crack is hidden. The stopper fits nice.  I believe this wonderful early decanter is from the Hambro Distillery of Baltimore, MD
