    GIRL SCOUTS
    RED NECKERCHIEF with SECOND TREFOIL
    Here is a triangular neckerchief that is part of the early Girl Scout Uniform.   This "second trefoil" ran from 1939 to 1948, so that is the date on which I based this neckerchief.  These came in several different colors, but this RED color really stands out.
    This measure approximately 45.5 inches on the long side, and 27.5 inches on the short sides. This shows less use than normal as there are no loose seems and no holes, but there is soiling on both pointed ends as shown.  I have not tried to clean it.
    NOTICE:
    The trefoil is a light GREEN... not sure why is shows this odd color.
