Up for sale is a genuine Chevrolet, original OEM take off deck lid from a 1956 Chevy Bel Air. Known as the iconic "Tri-5" generation, this deck lid should also fit 1955 model year, but may have used different badging. This deck lid is in excellent shape for its age, with no swelling, rust flake or pinch seam issues. Thicker, more authentic, better fitting and a better quality sheet metal component than any aftermarket or reproduction counterpart. This deck lid has survived the test of time, as it was until recently stored inside for the last 49 years!!!
Original, straight and rust free tri five sheetmetal is getting much harder to find, and this deck lid is a mint candidate for that top notch restoration!Trunk lid is original OEM, not reproduction. May need some slight dent attention, but is free of flake, swelling or pinch seam problem. Will fit better than reproduction
