1 Frang Ar is an impressive Albanian silver coin of the Albanian Kingdom period (1928-1939). It was minted in 1935 and 1937. Albania and Poland were two countries, both minting their coins within the Latin Monetary Union standard at that time, even though they were not officially part of this Union, which dissolved in 1927.
This 1 Frang Ar coin of 1935 was minted in Rome for the National Bank of Albania, with the standards of the Latin Monetary Union (LMU). According to LMU, each gold franc was interchangeable with the silver franc according to the exchange ratio 1:15.5.
