Antique Victorian Bristol Blue Whiskey Flagon or Decanter c1840
Up for auction is a hand blown, early Victorian, flagon decanter dating from the mid 19th century, c1840. It has an applied handle. The metal hanging tag may have been added later. It measures approximately 8 1/2" tall. The cork on the stopper is missing along with a small silver piece that held it in place. The bottom has the pontil mark. It is in good condition and has no cracks or chips. Please see photos for condition.
