    Description

    Older than me and in better shape!  This is a 26 ounce original Moxie bottle, bottled in Dexter, Maine.  On the bottom it is marked 55 and 12712. Next to the 55 to the left of it is a mark in a small mark in a square, which could be an upper case G or perhaps an S.  It's indistinct and I can't really tell for certain. It could be a Glenshaw Glass Company mark.
    Two color (orange and white) pyro decoration with the voids used very effectively as outlines for the Moxie. Moxie not only appears in the pyro decoration but is also moulded into the shoulders.
    Stands 10-1/2" tall and is approximately 3-3/8" in diameter.  Much heavier than the glass bottles I remember from the 60's and 70's, the bottle weighs 28 ounces exactly on my very accurate postage scale.  Boxed, it will weigh something between two and three pounds.
