Hopi Artist Silas Roy - Hancarved Child’s Katchina similar to those given out at festivals to children. Carving was created by Hopi artist Silas Roy. Silas's work is very much in demand and his pieces are true works of art. Silas was born in 1948 in Hotevilla, Arizona and started carving in high school, at the age of 15. Silas only uses pocket knives to create his carvings. 9 inches tall by 4 inches wide. Condition is great -See pictures for details. Found in high-end estate sale in Paradise Valley, AZ.
