    Description

Proudly presented today is this beautiful Hopi Kachina doll, depicting Aholi, Eototo's Lieutenant. These 2 Kachinas are ancient, and it is sometimes said that they were foundational to the establishment of the Kachina religion, and in some ancient battle, Aholi led a fighting retreat, which saved Eototo.   Standing 12 and a half inches tall, this very traditional example was carved by the very well-known and highly respected Leo Lacapa, of Walpi, a gifted carver of over 30 years experience, who has demonstrated his artistry at the Smithsonian, as well as at the Heard Museum. Although he rarely competes in shows, his artwork is in galleries from Los Angeles to Washington DC. His work is a very pleasing blend of traditional and modern, and looks beautiful in any Kachina doll collection. Buy with complete confidence, for as you all know, if the buyer is unsatisfied for ANY reason, I will immediately return the full purchase price, including return shipping. His timeless style will never go out of fashion, and it will give it’s proud owner a lifetime of satisfaction. This piece would grace any Kachina doll collection on earth; shouldn’t it be in YOURS? Many Thanks for your kind consideration, and as always, Best Regards, Rich
