He stands 8 and a half inches tall, not counting his magnificent feathers, and was carved by Calden Nanacasia, of Shungopavi.  As you can see, Calden is a traditionalist sculptor, and finds his artistic roots in dolls from many decades ago. His work is simple, direct and honest, in keeping with the era he prefers to model.
