Description
Presented today is this gorgeous
Hopi Kachina doll, depicting the rarely carved Hopi Snake Dancer.
Standing 8 and a half inches tall, he is exquisitely carved by Earl Arthur, a
highly respected carver of immense talent. This is part of a series
of carvings Earl has undertaken, to show very rarely depicted Kachinas.
Few carvers will make Snake Dancers. This is a golden opportunity to
acquire a carving that's just a bit out of the ordinary, and by a respected and
very talented carver. Earl's work is always reverent and understated, never
glitzy or gimmicky, and his honesty and fidelity to detail is never
compromised. The colors are rich, but subdued and never garish. Earl carves for
mainstream collectors, and carves at a size which makes his beautiful Kachina
dolls within reach of everyone. His honesty, and fidelity to detail, and the
beautiful sincerity of his work make him, in my opinion, among the best carvers
alive today. i am proud to represent his work, just as you can be rightfully
proud to own it. Buy with confidence, because as you all know, if the buyer is
unsatisfied for ANY reason, i will immediately return the full purchase price,
including shipping. Sincere Thanks for your kind consideration, and as always, Best
Regards, Rich
