    Description

Proudly presented today is this beautiful Hopi Kachina doll, depicting Kwahu, the Eagle Dancer. While this Kachina is among the best known of all the Kachinas, very few outsider have ever seen him real life, as he appears mostly in Kiva night dances. We have to be content with beautifully carved Kachina dolls, like this fine example. Standing 11 inches tall (not counting his feathers), he is carved by the very well-known and highly respected Joseph Duwyenie, a gifted carver who has won many awards throughout the Southwest. His work is represented in the Heard Museum gift shop, the Turquoise Buffalo in Sedona and the Adobe Gallery in Santa Fe, and this exquisite piece would be right at home in any of them.
Buy with complete confidence, for as you all know, if the buyer is unsatisfied for ANY reason, I will immediately return the full purchase price, including return shipping. This piece, beautifully elegant and highly complex, would grace the finest Kachina doll collections; shouldn’t it be in YOUR collection? Many Thanks for your kind consideration, and as always, Best Regards, Rich
