    Description

Presented today is this small Hopi Kachina doll, depicting  the Pang, the Bighorn Sheep Kachina. In the past, the Bighorn Sheep was of crucial to Hopi sustenance. As it was replaced by domestic herds, he is now danced as a prayer for an increase in all game in general. Standing 5 and a half inches tall, he was carved by Anthony David, of Polacca, around 2000. Anthony was taught the art of carving by his good friend Richard Gorman. This example of his work is part of a very large collection from a dear friend who has passed away, and her family has asked me to find homes for most of it. Buy with confidence, for as you all know, if the buyer is unsatisfied for ANY reason, i will immediately return the full purchase price, complete with return shipping. This is a very nice piece, available at a very reasonable price. Many Thanks for your kind consideration, and as always, Best Regards, Rich
