    Description

Presented today is this gorgeous Hopi Kachina doll, depicting Tatangaya, the Wasp Kachina. This enigmatic figure is considered a Warrior Kachina, and appears at the Pumuya and also the Mixed Kachina Dance. Ultimately, he's  probably derived from the Zuni, as evidenced by the Zuni black ruff. This beautiful example is carved with startling delicacy and detail, and is the work of the highly talented and respected Conrad Torivio, of Moencopi. Conrad's work is always clean and well-proportioned, and beautifully traditional. This lovely doll stands 10 and a half inches tall, and would look great in any Kachina doll collection, and both from the standpoint of subject matter and remarkable decoration, it would definitely call attention to itself. i am very proud to represent the work of this talented artist, and to offer his artwork to all of you, my friends. Buy with complete confidence, because as you all know, if the buyer is unsatisfied for ANY reason, i will immediately return the full purchase price, shipping included. Many Thanks for your kind consideration, and Congratulations in advance to the lucky buyer. Best Regards, Rich
