    Description

Presented today is this lovely Hopi Kachina doll, depicting Palhik'mana, the Butterfly Maiden. This complex, enigmatic spirit exists more as a probability wave than a distinct spirit, living in a continuum that begins with the Poli Mana and ends with the Salako Mana. Very Mysterious. This beautiful figure is carved with startling delicacy and detail, and is the work of the highly talented and respected Baldwin Huma, who in the 1970's and 1980's won several awards at the Scottsdale Nationals, the Heard Museum and the Hopi Show at the Museum of Northern Arizona. This remarkable carving stands only 4 and a half  inches tall, and the amazing attention to detail is very apparent in the pictures. This doll would look great in any Kachina doll collection, and both from the standpoint of subject matter and remarkable decoration, it would definitely call attention to itself. Buy with complete confidence, because as you all know, if the buyer is unsatisfied for ANY reason, i will immediately return the full purchase price, shipping included. Many Thanks for your kind consideration, and Congratulations in advance to the lucky buyer. Best Regards, Rich
