    Description

    Presented today is this whimsically posed Kachina doll, depicting the much beloved Warrior Mouse. The Hopis have their own David and Goliath story, concerning a Field Mouse who rids a Hopi Village of a pesky Chicken Hawk. This beautiful example, standing 5 inches tall, is carved by Emerson Taho, of Kykotsmovi and was carved in 2016. The signature is mostly obliterated, but its former owner recalls receiving it from Emerson as a gift.
