    Description

Proudly presented today is this beautiful Hopi Kachina doll, depicting Wupa Ala, the Long Horned Kachina. Very little is known of this Kachina's function, though it is obviously derived from the Zuni. Standing 9 inches tall, he is carved by the very well-known and highly respected Eugene Dallas, of Hotevilla,  a truly gifted carver who has won awards several times at the Hopi Show, the Heard Museum and the Intertribal Exhibition in Gallup. Some of the galleries which feature his work are McGee’s in Keams Canyon, Garlands and the Kachina House in Sedona, Six Directions in Taos, and Ancient Nations online. His work is uniformly beautiful, and his contemporary interpretations make him very desirable to collectors. This pieces is a beautiful example of his artistry.  Buy with complete confidence, for as you all know, if the buyer is unsatisfied for ANY reason, I will immediately return the full purchase price, including return shipping. This is a great example of his work and will look great in any collection. Many Thanks for your kind consideration, and sincere congratulations in advance to the very lucky buyer. Best Regards, Rich
