Hopi Whipper Kachina by Jonathan Gaseoma
This is a fantastic piece.  The natural form of the cottonwood root is used as the base.  It makes the kachina look like it is floating, but it is solidly secured.
14" tall, 5.5" x 4.5" base at its widest.
Condition: Very good, it is missing a part of the whipper towards the back of the left hand.  It almost look like that is the way it is made.  The rest is in excellent condition.  There is no other damages or missing pieces.

I have been collecting Native American kachina dolls and pottery over 20 years.  It is time to pass on these wonderful arts to someone who will enjoy them.
