    MAGNIFICENT NATIVE AMERICAN APACHE GAN / FIRE DANCER DOLL OR SCUPTURAL FIGURE - HUGE MEASURING 21" H X 12" W

    You are considering a rare museum quality Apache Gan or Fire Dancer. The creator of this work of art spared no detail; including Apache Cactus Kicker moccasins, a matching suede leather skirt, a rather lifelike sculpted tummy, hand painted decorations from top to bottom, amazing plumage and even some bells dangling from his waist. The sculptural Apache figure is one of the finest I have ever encountered. He was purchased in the late 1970's from Pat Read, a 3rd Generation Trader with the Native Americans in Lawrence, Kansas. He stands a full 21 inches in height including his pedestal. I especially love the motion of the body carved in mid dance; he balances on one foot and his arms are in motion holding the two decorative staffs. If you are a collector of either Kachina dolls or Native American artifacts this is a rare opportunity to acquire a magnificent antique work of art by a master craftsman. I guarantee you will adore fine example placed in your collection. He definitely is a center piece and will attract attention.

    Please view my detailed photos for the actual condition of this item and as part of my description. The dance figure is in amazing antique condition without any damage I can find. He can stand on his own as you can clearly see in my photos. Again he measures a full 21 inches in height by approximately 12 inches wide and approximately 7 inches in depth.
    Note: I will include the postcard in my last two listing photos as proof of provenance of this piece to the winner.
