The standard Gambeson is constructed from heavy duty denim. Points at the shoulders are visible, points at the elbows aren’t, but they are there.  Similarly the elbow pads are internal. with different medieval time horn/bone/wood button, Fabric covered buttons The Gambeson is built of fine quality cotton fabric. When worn by itself it is comfortable to wear.
