There are some very small rusty spots on the beige fabric that is wrapped around the clown's torso. There are no other known condition issues.     Description and Item Information
    Up for sale is this kachina figure or sculpture by the well-known Hopi-Tewa artist, Neil Randall David, Sr.. Please excuse any glare in the photos. This large piece was made from a variety of materials including wood, cloth, feathers, yarn, sand, and paint. It represents a koshare clown catching a chicken. It is difficult to decide which face shows more anguish, the bird or the clown. This item stands approximately 10 5/8 inches tall. It is about 17 3/4 inches long by 9 7/8 inches wide. Unpacked, it weighs 1 pound 15.7 ounces. This would be an interesting addition to a collection of Native American art.
    Identification
    This vintage piece is marked beneath, as shown, "TEWA CLOWN W/ ROOSTER (KOSHARE)" along with the initial markings used by Neil Randall David, Sr. It is dated "74" for 1974. David (1944-)  is a listed artist on askART. Per askART, he lives in the village of Hano on First Mesa in northern Arizona. He is known for drawing, painting, and sculpting. He is one of the founders of Artist Hopid.

    1. Payments
    Taxes may be applicable. The correct shipping address must be included with payment. Payments must be received within three days of the end of the listing, unless prior arrangements have been made.
    2. Shipping
    Good packaging is included; double-boxing is not necessarily included. Framed art will not be shipped unframed. The seller usually ships on Mondays and Thursdays. The merchandise will normally be shipped on the seller's next shipping day after payment clears. The seller is not responsible for the transit time once the merchandise has been accepted by the shipping carrier.
    Shipping includes delivery to a physical address via a method of the seller's choice. If the buyer prefers a different shipping method other than that chosen by the seller, or if delivery is to a post office box, additional shipping costs may be required. At the seller's discretion, a signature may be required for delivery.
