*Up for sale here is a nicely labeled pre prohibition era whiskey flask, from the Richland county city of Mansfield, Ohio. This clear flat oval half pint example is hand blown, and in near mint shape. The original paper label is excellent, as seen here. It has the partial old cork in place.
*The old paper label reads (advertises) ~ "FRED. WALTER'S / Pure A Rye / WHISKEY / A Blend / The Fred. Walter's Sons. Co. / Mansfield, Ohio." On the lower back side it is crisply embossed ~ "1/2 Pint / Full Measure". This ring necked pre pro dandy flask measures 7 3/8 inches tall, and 3 1/8 inches across the body. Bottle would date from about 1905 to 1912. You will be quite pleased with this neat little piece of whiskey distillery history, from the state of Ohio.
