Description:
This is an original trunk lid support rod assembly for 1946-48 Chevrolet sedan applications. This trunk support is in good structural condition with no unintended bends or major rust damage. Both mounting brackets are in-place and one appears to have a modern bolt holding it to the prop rod, as seen in the pictures. This was removed from a 1947 Chevrolet 2-door Fleetmaster sedan but should work on other 1946-48 sedan models as well. I do not believe that this is intended for aero-sedan applications as the deck lids on those are much different in design. This support measures 27-1/4" when fully extended. Do not miss out on this hard to find part for your restoration.
