Pekingese Dog Metal Antique Figure 6" Fine Quality Painted Details

Good morning from Congers, NY.  While I'm going through the office for things to sell, I came across this dog.  I believe he is a Peke; if I'm wrong someone please correct me.  Happy bidding.
I was trying for a long time to convince myself that this was a Vienna bronze / cold painted bronze.  If it IS, then you are getting a great deal.  I feel like I can see white metal under the paint / patina, so I'm selling this as a metal figural dog.  The photo of the ear from the back is pretty indicative of what Mr. Dog looks like in places where the finish is thin.
6" nose to tail.  Unmarked (I have looked exhaustively).  4.25" tall.  Painted eyes- hard to photograph due to hairline.  Paint accented finish.  He could probably use a bath; I took some dust off with a quick clean and pat dry.  Really nice quality.  Weighs in at just under 3 pounds.
