"SHOT GLASS" OR SAMPLE GLASS IS EARLY, AND TOUGHER TO FIND , ORIGINAL OWNER CONSIDERED IT "SCARCE".....IT HAS NICE WHITE LETTERING, AND IS A LIGHT AMETHYST COLORED GLASS, HAS GOOD AGE, WOULD TURN DARKER PURPLE IF LEFT IN SUNLIGHT....LETTERING IS LITTLE FAINT IN SPOTS, BUT FULLY READABLE........
This is a beautiful and believe scarce old "FINE OLD KY TAYLOR" WHISKEY LIQUOR ADVERTISING "SHOT GLASS" or "SAMPLE GLASS".....This comes out of a lifetime collection of antique shot and dose glasses , where original owner collected shot glasses from all over the United States..this was issued by a distiller in Louisville KENTUCKY in that collection
THIS SHOT GLASS DISPLAYS WONDERFULLY, LETTERING IS CRISP & NICE, ..DISPLAYS WELL, NICE COLOR, VERY SHARP PC...RIM IS REAL NICE (you will see a "dip" in the lip, but it is smooth and as made, not a chip)...ORIGINAL OWNER SAID USED FOR OLD  RYE BOURBON WHISKEY COMPANY
This shot sample glass is what I would call a
light sun purpled to clear
colored glass, it stands about 2 1/8" tall  ...and it is a very nice specimen,
