RARE 1930's RCA 50-A Inductor Microphone - with desk stand

RCA Victor 50-A inductor microphone  with vintage Synder desk stand.
Dates to the 1930s. The mic head has the original
embossed
name plate
. Introduced around 1933, the 50-A was the first in their line of inductor (dynamic) mics, and became popular for a variety of professional applications. The name I.D. plate says "MI"

and  the serial number,

All Original with no damage.
This
solid brass
microphone is in
excellent condition.
I deliberately didn't polish it to preserve the patina which looks marvelous.
No phantom power needed and will work with a standard amplifier
Used by many broadcasters including President FDR during his fireside chats by radio.
The mic
includes the (often missing) proprietary old Cannon connector
and short cable with a male XLR plug.

sits atop a nice vintage
Synder
desk stand.
Mic w/stand has a total height of around 14".
I purchased this item several years ago from a gentleman in Los Angeles who did vintage electronic repairs for the Hollywood Prop houses. He fixed several old tube radios for me with no issues. He said this was
used as a prop in several movies
over the years and at the time of purchase he also told me that this microphone was in working condition. I accepted his word as he had always been honest with me in the past. I only used it as a display piece and never had the equipment to test it out. This is my total knowledge about the working condition of this microphone.
