    RARE ANTIQUE HOPI KACHINA - 13" FIRE STARTER W/ POLKADOT DESIGNS & EMBELLISHMENT

    You are considering a wonderful Hopi Kachina doll I believe is known as "The Fire Starter." He holds a bundle of twigs in one hand used to start the ceremonial fire during the dance. These dolls were originally made to teach the Hopi children about their culture and dance. The doll has awesome details and painting and includes chicken feathers, twigs, yarn and fur embellishments. He stands approximately 13 inches in height on the included pedestal. If you are a collector of Kachina's, I guarantee you will adore rarer seen example. Good luck!

    Please view my detailed photos for the actual condition of this item and as part of my description. Overall the kachina is in amazing antique condition. I cannot find any damage to the doll. He will be sold with the pedestal seen in my listing photos for displaying in your collection. The doll was purchased in the 1970's. Good luck to my winning bidder.
