Revitalize your clothes and accessories, coordinate home decor, and deliver a custom touch to garments new and old, with the Rit Liquid Dye. This dye works on many different fabrics, such as cotton, wool and nylon and can be diluted with water for different shades of gray color. Dye your denim, shirts, canvas shoes or bath towels for a new fresh look. For dark or bright colors, double dye quantity. Use this all-purpose dye to stain unfinished wood and wicker, or use to paint old furniture and give it a new look.

Wash dyed items separately in cool water

Use 1 bottle for 2 lb. dry fabric.
For dark or bright colors, double dye quantity.
Add 1 cup salt to dyebath for cotton, rayon, ramie, linens or blends.
Add 1 cup vinegar to dyebath for nylon, silk or wool.
Stove-top method is suggested when dyeing nylon at a higher temperature. Not recommended for 100% polyester, acrylic, acetate or fabrics with special finishes, rubber-backing, cold water wash, or labeled Dry Clean Only.
If in doubt, test dye a swatch. Never pour dye on a fabric. Rit® will stain plastic, fiberglass or worn porcelain tubs.
Use Rit® Color Remover before dyeing to lighter or different color.
Wash dyed items separately in cool water.
Wear rubber gloves.
Shake well before using
