    Description

Scarce Pre-Prohibition quart B.N. Neaman Pittsburg/Pittsburgh Whiskey Bottle - very clean bottle with little or no staining. Only condition issue is a couple of VERY faint scratches on the back and one side of the bottle which are almost unnoticeable. This one most likely dates 1890-1910, as Pittsburg officially added the "h" to Pittsburgh in 1911. A Google search reveals very little (if any) info around B.N. Neaman as a whiskey seller, except a newspaper blurb in 1921 that Neaman represented a group that purchased the James Clark Distillery after the beginning of prohibition. An image search for the bottle also yielded no results.
