    Description

    This Native American Kachina Doll is approximately 13 1/2" tall from the base to the top of the feathers in the head dress.  The wing span of the feathers is about 12 1/2".  Marked on the bottom of the wood base EAGLE DANCER  by Spencer.  Eagle Dancer is carved and painted wood with a colorful leather outfit and decorated with both feathers and fur.  It appears to be in very good condition with some wear to the feathers.  Please see photos for all details of this impressive kachina doll.
    The previous owner of this kachina doll was of Native American heritage.  She passed away recently and her estate gave it to our local library, The Wide Awake Club Library in Fillmore NY as the previous owner was an active supporter of our library.  I am also involved with the library so I was asked to list this item .  ALL PROFITS from this auction will be given to the library.  Two other Native American artifacts, a micro mini kachina and a sand painting plaque, were also included in this gift and they are currently listed in separate auctions.
