    You are bidding on a superb quality hand carved and painted miniature totem pole from a American Northwest Coast tribe. Although these were trade and tourist items, they have now become quite collectable. The one you are viewing is nicely not only wonderful carved and painted, but is signed and dated 1946 making this an earlier example and highly desirable. Notice the very nice patina already forming since the item was created 75 years ago.

    Please view my detailed photos for the actual condition of this item and as part of my description. Overall, the totem is in amazing antique condition and includes the original wooden base for display. My last listing photo places a foot long ruler to judge the basic height which is about 12 1/2 inches by impressive 8" wide. The signature is hard to read, but the date is clearly from 1946. Rarely do you find miniature totems this early here on Ebay. Good luck!
