Unusual Vintage HOPI Rattle Kachina Cradle 10" Cottonwood Root Katsina

Description

This unusual vintage “cradle” kachina represents a rattle, I believe.  It measures about 10” tall, not including the feather.  This piece likely dates to the 1960s or early ‘70s.  It’s carved of cottonwood root and unsigned, although the original price of can be seen faintly on the bottom.  In very good vintage condition—please see photos for details.
