    Description

    Offering a
vintage 1940's era TURNER Model 99 Microphone
, sometimes referred to as "The Searchlight", working with desk stand and BBC flag.
The model 99 is the cousin of the more common Turner 999 and U99 models, based on the Western Electric model 618 issued in to the 1940's & 50's, and also enjoyed Navy contracts during WW2.
    The
physical condition of this mic is very presentable
with only mild signs of use. Very few of these still work, but this one has been tested and
    produces super strong output
    with nice
    wide-ranging fidelity
from it's original element. It has a clean front wire grill and robust metal yoke, and will perform well for quite a wide variety of uses while still displaying that classic vintage style for photo shoots or video/film/TV projects. Has a (removable)
    reproduced BBC flag
clipped onto the mic head. The
adjustable-height Atlas desk stand is included...
    overall height 13-16".
(See final photo of the stand fully extended.)
These mics require a 3 pin male Amphenol cable which we can provide for a separate fee.
