Vintage Clown Kachina Leg Up by artist Robert Platero Navajo Leather Suede Fur

Welcome!  This approximately 11.5 inch Kachina is signed by the artisan Robert Platero.  It also states "Clown" on the bottom above the signature.  Extraordinary details with this kachina doll.  I am not an expert but do see that the dagger or knife in one hand is broken off.  I do have that piece as seen in the photographs which means it can be repaired.  The other hand may have held something as well but I haven't a clue what and do not have that piece if something is missing.   May need to be lightly cleaned but will leave that for the new owner.  Non smoking environment.  I have other kachina listed that you may want to view as well.  They were all purchased from a gentleman that spent decades traveling throughout the southwest adding to his collection which was extensive in many different interests and love of the artists.
