Up for sale as a wonderful Indian folk art child’s Cradleboard. It is a Hopi flat doll on the board tucked away under cotton. I tried to picture all angles, so nothing is hidden. Please ask questions. Overall it is 15 inches tall by 7 1/2 inches wide. I believe it to be from the 1980s or 90s era. It comes out of an estate of a collector in Tulsa Oklahoma. This flat female katsina doll is snuggled into a cradleboard and held in place with leather thongs. She is covered on her body with cotton and cotton is attached to the sun shade of the cradleboard. The cotton probably represents clouds and the home of the katsinas.?? From adobe gallery.
