Vintage NAVAJO Delbert Buck Folk Art Santa Claus & Sheep on Plane

Description

This charming vintage piece by famed Navajo artist Delbert Buck has his signature humor and attention to detail.  Santa’s “wing walker” sheep have stoic expressions, the plane is wonderfully painted with Christmas bells, and Santa even sports a stamped metal concho belt!  This piece measures about 11” tall x 14.5” wide across the wings x 13” long.  In very good vintage condition apart from a small, tight crack in the top of the plane—it’s always been there & is hardly noticeable.  Please take a close look at the photos.  Signed on the bottom, and sure to make you smile!
