Vintage SENIOR GIRL SCOUT UNIFORM DRESS (6)-PINS 1971-1980

Description

This is for a Vintage Senior Girl Scout Uniform. This Dress became known as the “official Girl Scout uniform with the unofficial hemline”. The reason for this action was that this dress was designed during a period of great hemline variation, and once a hem was fixed into the fabric by the manufacturer, it would have been impossible to iron out. You can see on this dress that the person had to hem it to the length they wanted by the stitching on it. The Dress has short Sleeves. It is a Size 6. It is made from a Permanent Press Cotton Poplin. It has 5 Metal Buttons dozen the front and 1side pocket. It is very gently worn and has no holes or stains. The Pins are the World Association Pin and the Trefoil Eagle Pin with a 5 year pin on a chain. Please see pictures for Condition and Measurements so you can get the right fit.
