You are looking at a Vintage Hand-Carved 6 1/2" Beaded Indian Chief Doll Signed on the base by Dianne Ottogary. This is one of
Dianne Ottogary finest works,in my opinion. With such detail,soft leather outfit,etc.,detailed in every way!
Dianne was born in Pocatello, Idaho, and influenced by that location, named in the honor of the Shoshone Indian Chief Pocatello (1815-1884.)  This doll may have been a representation of Chief Pocatello, who led attacks against early settlers during a time of increasing strife between settlers and Native Americans.  The doll is carved and covered in leather with lots of beads and detail from head to foot.  Please check out the pictures!
This is a very collectible piece  to put in your collection with no issues, in excellent condition!
